Over the last few years, we here at Origineering have invested all our time and resources designing and patenting inventive and innovative travel products - quality travel accessories and travel security products that actually do what they're designed to do! And this is just the start. We are constantly developing our library of patents and ideas, from specialised luggage locks to luggage seals and luggage tags, and we are continually testing the market with them to make sure that they continue to represent good value. They also need to be relevant to you, the discerning traveller.
The soon to be released ClipLok is one such example.
In some ways like a traditional padlock or luggage lock, ClipLok gives confidence to the user because it does not involve the use of "pass-keys" for luggage screening purposes (so there's no need to worry about pass-keys falling into the hands of unauthorised people!). If luggage screeners need to manually inspect your bag for security reasons, all they need to do is cut the ClipLok off - in fact we invite them to do so! The amazing thing about ClipLok though, is that after it has been cut off, it can be re-used to lock your bag once more! And when you get your luggage home, it's a simple matter to replace ClipLok's clipped shackle with a new one! We provide spare shackles for this very purpose - and they're as cheap as chips!
ClipLok is an all-new travel lock concept, and is scheduled to be released very shortly - in fact, pre-production samples have been quality tested and prior to the first production run. Tell-Tag is another of our unique travel accessories.
Looking basically like a luggage tag or luggage seal, Tell-Tag has been specifically designed to detect luggage tampering. In a situation where your bag's zipper is forced open (breached), Tell-Tag will prevent the bag's zip sliders from being used to re-close the zip chain so that a criminal cannot cover-up his or her tracks. Whilst not actually preventing theft, it will reliably advise you of criminal activity, and this is absolutelty vital if you're concerned about THE RISK OF SOMETHING INCRIMINATING BEING ADDED TO THE CONTENTS OF YOUR LUGGAGE. In either case, Tell-Tag provides you with an intuitive alert to any luggage tampering, as it cannot be removed without "voiding" its seal and/or destroying the luggage tag itself. ZipChek works in a similar fashion to Tell-Tag, but has been designed expressly for use with the ClipLok, for travel into, and out of the USA. It is anticipated that ZipChek will be available from this website later this year.
